Welcome to PubDrug - The open access drug resource

We currently have a total of 17 fully-certified drug records. For information about PubDrug and our continuing development, please see the Comments section below.

Expanded Drug Monographs List, Current to August 2008

Our certified monographs include:

All italicized drug monographs have been added since our last update. All drug monographs in bold have been converted to the new PubDrug template.

This progress would not have been possible without the amazing efforts of a handful of fourth-year professional Pharm.D. students at the University at Buffalo. Their user pages are linked from the above records and we encourage everyone to visit them.

There are other types of PubDrug records being developed. More information will be posted here as this work progresses.

For information on drugs not listed above, please visit the National Library of Medicine Drug Information Portal.

Comments about PubDrug

PubDrug was founded November 8, 2006, in an effort to develop a copyright-free, royalty-free, full-text drug resource. PubDrug is being developed as a wiki, allowing us to harness the expertise of the entire internet to help create this database. However, it is our intention to also apply editorial guidelines and fact-checking to help keep this data as error-free as possible.

With the creation of the National Library of Medicine Drug Information Portal, the plans for PubDrug are changing significantly. PubDrug is transitioning to become a platform for pharmacoinformatics education.

We would like to invite you to assist us in this effort. More information will be posted here as this project continues to take shape. You may also wish to look at the OLD proposal and our original Planning document.

E-mail stewart-brower@ouhsc.edu if you have any questions about this project and/or would like to volunteer. Pharmacy faculty who wish to use PubDrug to develop a pharmacoinformatics education course project or as a capstone or assessment for their students should contact stewart-brower@ouhsc.edu to request an account. Thank you for your interest.
