Step One: Methodology
Please take a minute to read over the complete methodology being used to generate PubDrug monographs and also the methodology used to generate clinical trial review pages.
Step Two: Drug List
Our agenda for 2007 is to generate original monographs for the top selling drugs in the United States. We have a starter list of the top 200 drugs from which to choose.
Step Three: Monograph template
PubDrug monographs follow a particular format. This "template" can be copied and pasted into a new monograph so contributors can begin working on their content. (Please note that this is not a Mediawiki-style template, although that possibility is being investigated for future monograph development.) The clinical trial review template can also be copied and pasted into a new page for editing.
Step Four: Certification
All PubDrug monographs are subject to certification and must undergo review prior to being certified. All new monographs must have the "Non-Certified" red banner copied and added to the top of the page as soon as the contributor has begun editing the page. For a check list for certification please see the Certification Process page.
