| 3 | more than one topical ophthalmic drug: Decreased efficacy of either the other ophthalmic drug or Xalatan may result. If more than one topical ophthalmic drug is being used; ie Xalatan and another topical ophthalmic drug, then separate the administration of the topical ophthalmic drugs by at least five (5) minutes apart from each other.[1] more than one topical prostaglandin analogue: Decreased efficacy of Xalatan and the other prostaglandin analogue drug may result. The manufacturer recommends that only one prostaglandin analogue should be used once daily, as two prostaglandin analogue drugs may result in a decrease of the intraocular pressure lowering effect of prostaglandin analogues, as well as a paradoxical elevation in intraocular pressure.[1] |
