PubDrug is a peer-reviewed, edited collection of drug information records designed for use by pharmacists and other health care professionals and researchers. Several different record formats have been developed to support this initiative, and it is likely that even more record formats will be developed in the future.

Types of PubDrug Records
Currently, PubDrug includes the following kinds of records:
Expanded drug monographs
The core resource of PubDrug, these expanded drug monographs include detailed and comprehensive information about specific medications.
- Examples: Atorvastatin, Sertraline
Drug interactions
These pages are ancillary to PubDrug monographs, and provide detailed descriptions of increased or decreased effects of drugs due to other substances.

Classifications
These pages provide description and definition of drug classifications.
- Example: HMG-CoA reductase inhibitor (statin)
Clinical trial reviews
A new type of evidence-based pharmacy resource, these reviews provide substantive and critical analysis of clinical drug trials.
