Can a drug wiki substitute for a drug formulary? For health care professionals, accessing detailed, accurate drug information is crucial to daily clinical operations. Many times, this information is provided by vendors who charge a premium. As a result, many open source, open access medical informatics initiatives do not have access to drug information to integrate with their data.

PubDrug.org will be an open access directory of drug monographs on a wiki platform.
