4 gatifloxacin: a quinolone is contraindicated for use with antidiabetic agents. Serious alterations in blood glucose have been reported. [1]
3 None known
2 gemfibrozil, montelukast: Rosiglitazone is a CYP 2C8 substrate therefore administration with gemfibrozil or montelukast CYP 2C8 inhibitors may lead to higher rosiglitazone concentrations and side effects. [2] [3]

ketoconazole, fluconazole, miconazole, and voriconazole CYP 2C9 inhibitors may cause an increase in therapeutic effect or adverse effects of rosiglitazone. [4][5]

1 rifampin: a CYP 2C8 Inducer was found to decrease the mean AUC for rosiglitazone by 66% and the mean elimination half-life from 3.9 to 1.5 hours. Therefore a decreased rosiglitazone efficacy may be seen. [6]

2 Green Tea: catechins shown to decrease serum glucose concentrations thus increased risk for hypoglycemia. [7]
1 Ethanol: A single administration of a moderate amount of alcohol did not increase the risk of acute hypoglycemia but ethanol may cause variable effects on glycemic control. Blood glucose should be monitored closely and dosage adjustment made if necessary. [2]
